Well... God joke #2 has occurred...
Right after going to see the house and 15 acres, we fell in love with the property. We called the bank and started the whole process to start selling the house and went to work on the new loan process. First thing we were told is something I figured we'd work out later, "You have to show us you have jobs in the state the land is located." A little shocked by the news I went into to work the next day talking to the realtor on the phone, when I got a note from my director to meet her in her office.
God joke #3...
I get offered a promotion and raise. I'm like, "Oh hell, there's no way she's reading this blog is there?" I spend the night thinking about everything and call the bank in the morning asking them to hold off for a few days. I also, emailed the realtor, who replied with a disdainful, "Better hurry. I just got a solid offer on the table."

So, now the "perfect property" has been sold, I'm completely discouraged and I can't decide if I should pursue this idea, give up, or just take it on the chin and keep the dream alive.
I'm not ready to give up. Sometimes God laughs at our pursuits and other times we pray for the light beings to help us take flight and I'm ready to get some wings! In the words of John Lennon, "Life is what happens when you're busy making other plans."
